Our State Licensed Recording Arts Programs Operate Twelve
Months Out Of The Year. Throughout These Three Offered Courses,
Students Work On Real Projects With Real Musicians, Not Just Text
Book Studies.
Our Students Learn The Fine Art Of Mic Placement While Capturing
Individual Performances Of Various Instruments First. This Initial
Complex Course Training Prepares Each Student For Their Final
Recording And mixing Projects. This Is Where YOU Come In!
Each And Every Year, For Each Student, We Scramble To Find
Bands & Musicians For Student Engineers To Record For FREE! As
Odd As This May Sound, Sometimes This Can Be A Difficult Mission.
If You Are In A Band And Would Like To Have A Song Recorded For
FREE In A Professional Recording Facility, This Is How It Works!
Each Student Recording/ Mixing Session Consist Of One Song And Is
Typically Completed In Two Days. These Dates Are Scheduled
During Student Clock Hours. Genre Of Music Is Not A Concern.
For The Student Free Recording Sessions, We Ask That The
Participating Band Bring Any General Equipment That They Would
Normally Bring For A Rehearsal Or A Show. (With The Exception Of A
Drum Kit Which Will Be Supplied By The Soundscape Recording
Studio).
The Participating Band Should Also Be Performing Original Music
That Is Very Well Rehearsed. It Would Greatly Defeat The Purpose If
The Group Did Not Have Their Material Prepared. We Must Not
Forget The End Objective For These Sessions Is Hands On Training
For The Student Engineer.
